Introducing our 8-quart bag of premium hard wood pellets, the perfect substrate for cultivation of wood loving mushroom! Our pellets are made from 100% natural hardwoods, providing an optimal growing environment for your mushrooms. No chemicals or binding agents are present.

When used as a substrate, wood pellets provide a nutritious and well-balanced substrate for mushroom cultivation. The high lignin content in hardwoods provides a good source of energy for the mycelium, and the sawdust helps to maintain the proper moisture content.

Our 8-quart bag is perfect for the home cultivator or small farm operation. With a weight of 10 pounds, it's easy to handle and store. To prepare the pellets for mushroom cultivation, simply add water in a 2:1 ratio (2 parts water to 1-part pellets) and let them soak for at least 2 hours. To sterilize, heat the substrate to 250-270°F for 1 hour.
