Fu Ling (Poria cocos)
Grow your own edible and medicinal Fu ling mushrooms with liquid culture
Poria cocos or Fu Ling has a long history in chinese medicine dating back 2000
years. It contains a long list of medicinally beneficial compounds such as
triterpenoids, polysaccharides, ergosterol, caprylic acid, undecanoic acid, lauric
acid, histamines, fats, glucose as well as other elements. Not only a great
medicine, it was once used to make a variety of delicacies for the royal family.
Fu Ling is a white fungus on wood, showing a preference for Japanese red pine
and Masson pine but can also been found on fir trees. It grows in an irregular
shaped chunk that can be oblong or oval. It has a grayish brown or dark brown
outer skin, resembling the shell of coconuts. The inside is white and is the only
part that is consumed.
Out-Grow is proud to present a full line of edible and medicinal mushroom
cultures. Economically priced so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful hobby
and benefits of mushroom cultivation. Our cultures are made by experts and are
100% clean and viable.
The liquid culture syringes are between 10 and 12cc and are ready to inject to
your substrate of choice such as sterilized rye berries.
