Grow your own edible and medicinal Honey mushrooms with liquid culture
Armillaria mellea, more commonly known as the Honey mushroom, grows in
temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. It can be found in North America,
Europe and northern Asia and has been introduced to South Africa. When the
mycelia are in active growth, they are bioluminescent but the fruiting bodies are
not. Armillaridin is an aromatic ester compound isolated from the honey
mushroom and has been found to have medicinal benefits.
