Growth is moderate, typically colonizing a 100mm plate notably slower than oyster mushrooms but capable of filling a plate edge to edge given time. As the culture matures, mycelium darkens from light tan toward deeper tan or brown, and older regions of the plate may develop small sclerotia on the agar surface. Out-Grow recommends you replate your mushroom plate culture every 6 months to ensure longevity of your purchase.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStore fully colonized plates at 35–43°F in darkness, sealed to prevent desiccation. Plan to transfer every 1-2 months to maintain culture vigor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMushroom Plate Cultures Are Made to Order\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll mushroom culture plates are made to order. Once your order is received, Out-Grow will inoculate your plate within 1-3 days. Your mushroom plate culture will then be incubated in our mycology lab for approximately 7-14 days, or until clean healthy mycelium has been verified by our mycologist. Once verified, your order will be shipped promptly.
