This shiitake mushroom grows large and dense cups spreading out into plate-sized shiitake. This amazing mushroom strain is slow growing, with a 24-month spawn run time, but is well worth the wait. Fruiting mostly in the spring with fruiting temperature ranging from 35-55° F.
