 Agaricus hortensis, also known as the "garden mushroom," is a species of  mushroom that belongs to the Agaricus genus. It is a medium-sized  mushroom with a cap that ranges in color from white to light brown. The  cap is typically 5-10 cm in diameter and is round and flat when young,  becoming more convex as it matures. The stem of the mushroom is  typically 5-10 cm tall and 1-2 cm wide, and is white or pale brown in  color. The gills of the mushroom are pink or brown and are attached to  the stem. Agaricus hortensis is a common mushroom that can be found in  gardens, lawns, and other grassy areas. It is often used in cooking and  is known for its delicate flavor.
