Mushroom Species Guides Organization
Species guides are grouped by genus, family, or ecological and morphological category, following the organizational conventions used in current mycological literature. Categories range from commercially important cultivated genera such as Lentinula (shiitake) and Hericium (lion's mane) to ecologically significant groups such as bracket fungi, jelly fungi, and cordyceps. Each category hub page provides an overview of the group and links directly to the species profiles it contains.
